Our Story
Levi’s Building Components originated as Levi’s Nail Coatings in 1978, in a small shop in Bird-In-Hand, Pennsylvania. Under the guidance of Levi Fisher, the founding owner, the industry progressed from coating not only nails, but also screws. Thus, the company name was changed to Levi’s Nails and Screws.
In 1995, the company’s growth required a larger facility which was located in Leola, Pennsylvania. In 2008, Steve Fisher, Levi’s son, purchased the company. Under his leadership, more products were added. In 2015, the company’s name was changed to Levi’s Building Components (LBC) to reflect Levi’s product offerings.
The company’s continuing growth rate ultimately required a larger facility. Additionally, Steve recognized the inefficiency of not having all aspects of the company under one roof. In 2020, the newly constructed building located in Brownstown, Pennsylvania now houses all aspects of Levi’s Building Components including customer service, administration, manufacturing,
warehousing and shipping.
Today, our company is known as Levi’s Building Components and is a nationally recognized metal roofing product supplier. Presently under the guidance of Levi’s son, Steve, the 40 years of Fisher family leadership has enabled the company to grow, yet remain true to its Christian principles.
